Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is coaching, and how is it different from mentoring or therapy?

Coaching is a future-focused, goal-oriented process that supports individuals or teams to grow, make decisions and overcome challenges. Unlike mentoring, it doesn’t offer advice based on experience. And unlike therapy, it doesn’t focus on mental health or past trauma. Coaching is about helping you gain clarity, confidence, and momentum.

2. What kinds of coaching do you offer?

We offer:

  • Team coaching – to build trust and connection, create alignment and improve performance

  • 1:1 leadership and career coaching – for individuals navigating growth, change or challenge

  • Coaching Academy – for emerging and senior leaders.
We also create bespoke coaching solutions for organisations, including the NHS, public sector, and purpose-led businesses.

3. Who do you work with?

We work with a wide range of clients, including:

  • Senior leaders, new managers and professionals at career crossroads

  • Teams looking to work better together, especially during times of change

  • Organisations investing in leadership development or cultural transformation

4. What happens in a coaching session?

Each session is a confidential space to explore what matters most to you. You bring the topic, whether it's a decision, a challenge, or a goal, and your coach will ask insightful questions to help you think more clearly, explore new perspectives, and move forward with confidence.

5. How long does coaching last?

It depends on your goals. Some clients find three to six sessions helpful for a specific focus. Others work with a coach over several months or longer for deeper development. Team coaching programmes usually run over 3–6 months or longer. We’ll work with you to design the right approach.

6. Is coaching confidential?

Yes. Confidentiality is a cornerstone of effective coaching. Everything you share in a session stays between you and your coach, unless agreed otherwise (e.g. in some organisational coaching contexts, where themes may be shared anonymously).

7. Do you offer virtual coaching?

Yes. We offer coaching both online and in person, depending on your location and preferences. Many of our clients find virtual coaching just as powerful.

8. Can coaching really help?

Absolutely. When there's trust, commitment and the right support, coaching can be transformational. Clients often tell us they feel clearer, more confident and better equipped to lead, collaborate and make meaningful change in their lives.

9. How do I get started?

Simple - get in touch to arrange a free, no-pressure conversation. We’ll talk through what you’re looking for and whether coaching feels like the right fit.
