Frequently Asked Questions
-
Coaching is a collaborative process that helps you move from where you are now to where you want to be. It’s focused on clarity, growth and taking action, not fixing or analysing the past.
Therapy is typically about healing and understanding emotions or experiences. Mentoring is about someone sharing their expertise or advice. Coaching, on the other hand, starts with you - your goals, your challenges, your insights.
Think of it as a space to pause, reflect, and make choices that actually work for you, with someone alongside you asking the right questions at the right time.

We offer a range of coaching approaches designed to help people and teams grow, connect and perform at their best.
Team coaching: For teams that want to work better together. We help you build trust, strengthen relationships, create alignment and improve performance, not through away days or theory, but through real, honest conversations that shift how you work as a group.
Executive coaching: For senior leaders who want to think clearly, lead with impact and create space to focus on what really matters. Coaching provides perspective, challenge and support, helping you balance performance with presence.
Leadership coaching: For emerging and established leaders who want to grow confidence, navigate complexity and lead authentically. Together, we’ll explore your leadership style, strengths and blind spots, so you can lead with more clarity and less stress.
Life coaching: For anyone ready to make meaningful change. Whether you’re at a crossroads, seeking better balance, or just want to feel more fulfilled, life coaching helps you reconnect with what’s important and take action that sticks.
ADHD/Neurodivergent coaching: For individuals navigating growth, change or challenge with ADHD, autism or other neurodivergence. Coaching helps you work with your brain, not against it, building structure, self-understanding and strategies that actually fit you.
Coaching Academy: For organisations that want to build coaching capability. We design and deliver development programmes for emerging and senior leaders who want to coach their teams with confidence and skill.
We also create bespoke coaching solutions for organisations - including the NHS, public sector and corporate teams - blending individual, team and group coaching to meet your specific goals.

Each session is a confidential space to explore what matters most to you.
You bring the topic, whether it's a decision, a challenge, or a goal, and your coach will ask insightful questions to help you think more clearly, explore new perspectives and move forward with confidence.
-
It depends on what you’re working on. Most people start with a package of 6–9 sessions, meeting every 2–3 weeks.
That rhythm gives time to reflect, experiment, and embed change between sessions. Some clients continue for longer as their goals evolve; others find significant shifts after just a few sessions.
You don’t need to commit forever - we’ll review together as we go.
-
Yes. Confidentiality is a cornerstone of effective coaching.
Everything you share in a session stays between you and your coach, unless agreed otherwise (e.g. in some organisational coaching contexts, where themes may be shared anonymously).
-
Yes. We offer coaching both online and in person, depending on your location and preferences.
Many of our clients find virtual coaching just as powerful. We also offer ‘walk and talk’ coaching.
-
Absolutely. When there's trust, commitment and the right support, coaching can be transformational.
Clients often tell us they feel clearer, more confident and better equipped to lead, collaborate and make meaningful change in their lives.
-
Coaching for ADHD is about working with your brain, not against it.
Together, we look at how you manage focus, energy and time, and build systems that actually work for you. It’s practical and empowering, with space to explore what gets in the way of your natural strengths.
It’s not about “fixing” anything. It’s about understanding yourself better, and finding ways to make life and work flow more easily.
-
Team coaching helps improve how a team works together, not just what they do.
It’s a facilitated process that builds trust, clarity and alignment, helping teams have better conversations, manage conflict more constructively, and deliver results without burning out.
A typical programme might include team workshops, observation of meetings and reflective sessions that turn day-to-day challenges into learning opportunities. It’s practical, honest and transformative.
-
We work with people from all walks of life, from healthcare and creative industries to business and education.
Many are leaders or professionals who want to work more effectively, find balance, or handle challenges with more confidence. We also support people exploring how to work with their ADHD, not against it.
If you’re curious, thoughtful and ready to make change (even if you’re not sure where to start), coaching can help.
-
Yes - those are some of the most common themes we work with.
Coaching helps you notice the patterns that feed perfectionism or self-doubt, and find healthier ways to motivate yourself. It’s about building awareness and choice, rather than trying to “get rid” of those feelings.
You’ll learn to recognise your inner critic, quieten it when needed, and lead from a more grounded, confident place.
-
Most of our coaching is online. It’s flexible, accessible and works brilliantly for reflection and focus.
We also offer in-person sessions and workshops for teams, depending on location and what you’re looking for.
Whichever format we use, the quality of the conversation and the impact of the work stay the same.
If we’re located not too far from each other, we can also arrange walking coaching sessions, where we meet at a local park, and use the power of nature to support the session.

Great question!
Every morning, at 5.30am, a wagtail bird tapped on Simon’s bedroom window whilst he was living in Zambia on a one year adventure living in Africa. The wagtail saw its reflection as a rival and kept returning, undeterred by frustration and failure.
But the wagtail isn’t just persistent, it’s smart, collaborative and a natural communicator (with other birds, obvs). That same determination and focus, applied differently, can move mountains.
Seeing the wagtail each morning reminded Simon of what coaching clients often teach us:
1. When times are hard, often the person we are fighting is ourselves. We can choose to stop.
2. Repeating the same actions brings the same results. We can choose different behaviours.
3. Pausing to reflect opens new perspectives. The impossible becomes possible.
4. Determination, focus and passion, when aimed well, can help you achieve your biggest goals. We choose where to put our energy.
